Exhibition of Brazil Organic (58 min - DOC - Brasil - 2013) by Licia Brancher and Katia Klock, at Casa Sou.l, followed by the workshop “Ecozinha”, about raw food gastronomy taught by Chef Bernardo Mota.

BernardoBernardo, 29, graduated in gastronomy at UNIRIO (2006) made several specialization courses at The Raw Food School, (London, 2008), the Gaia Education Design for Sustainability, (Rio de Janeiro, 2009), the Dr. Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute (Puerto Rico, 2009), the Natural Gourmet Institute (New York, 2010), and the Matthew Kenney Raw Food Academy (Oklahoma, 2010), among others.

There will be forty available places for the film and twenty for the workshop with the chef Bernardo Mota. For inscriptions, please send an email to: contato@casasoul.com.br. In the entrance of the Environmental Museum at the Botanical Garden, the inauguration of the presentation of video art series Cool stories for when the planet gets hot I, II and III, presented by the German Curator Anne-Marie Melster. The three series where first exhibited in Art Basel, an important swiss art fair. The series will be played continuously until September 6th.

Roundtable about “The Audiovisual as a Tool for Transformation”. The chat will be coordinated by filmmaker Silvio Da-Rin, gathering the American documentary filmmaker Chris Paine; the coordinator of NIMA (Interdisciplinary Center for the Environment at PUC-RJ), Luíz Felipe Guanaes; José Solla, diplomat, adjunct secretary of Rio+20, where he also organized the film showcase: "Rio+20: Sustainability in 24 frames”; and Anne-Marie Melster, German, co-founder and director of ArtPort_making waves.

Exhibition of the film Way Beyond Weight (84 min - DOC - Brazil - 2013) by Estela Renner, at the Arena Carioca Chacrinha, followed by discussion with producer and co-author Mark Nisti. The activity will be attended by students of municipal schools surrounding the Arena.
