Hundreds of thousands of Indian
men and women, landless farmers and the Adivasis – Indian aborigenes – underway
on foot. Large-scale exploitation of minerals, the construction of immense
plantations and tremendous infrastructure projects have resulted in the fact
that these people have been and still are driven from their homes. Following
the charismatic leadership of Rajagopal, pioneer and founder of the movement,
they unite and decide to fight for an honored existence. They march 400
kilometers, from Gwalior to Delhi. They will persevere and only return
home once the government heeds their demands.
